　　IVECO will provide a modified version of the IVECO S-WAY natural gas truck in race paint for the 2022 Tour de Italy ("Tour de Italy") for team performances and the IVECO Daily fleet for logistics transportation during this world-class sporting event.

　　IVECO and IVECO BUS are the official suppliers designated for the 2022 Tour of Italy and the 2022 Giro-E. 　　The Tour de Italy is one of the prestigious annual cycling tournaments and this year is the 105th edition of the Tour de Italy. Together with the Tour de France and the Tour of Spain, the Tour de Italy is the most famous cycling event in the world, with about 900 million spectators on five continents. The Giro-E is the only event dedicated to pedal-assisted electric road bikes. As an associated project of the Tour de Italy, it has quickly gained the favor of a wide audience.

On each day of the race, IVECO S-WAY LNG trucks will lead the "Carovana" team performance, a popular parade of decorative cars, with entertainment and music to enhance the festive atmosphere at the hands of the drivers. IVECO’s lead truck was specially modified for this event, based on a clean energy model powered by LNG, and the body is painted with the exclusive pink "Giro d’italia". IVECO S-WAY LNG will dominate the team performances in 21 stages in Hungary and Italy, which will strongly demonstrate the practicality of natural gas technology and its key role in decarbonizing transportation. 　　IVECO will also provide 10 IVECO Daily light commercial vehicles for logistics transportation during the event, as well as 2 pink bodies designed for Giro d’italia for the team show and 7 for the 2022 Giro-E. The 19 vehicles are powered by IVECO’s latest generation of fuel-efficient engines, thus providing sustainable power.

　　As the official supplier of the 2022 Giro-E event, IVECO BUS will provide riders participating in the electric road cycling event with an EVADYS bus equipped with next-generation engine technology and compatible with renewable fuels. In addition, a CROSSWAY natural gas bus will be provided for the event. This is a bus designed for urban and intercity passenger transportation. It was named "Sustainable Bus of the Year 2018" and is now widely popular as the demand for natural gas buses increases.
