Peng Yuyan’s "Tropical Past" was raised to 6.12, and the skinny characters became a mystery

1905 movie network news Directed and produced by a rookie director, Peng plays Wang Xueming, whose otherwise uneventful life is transformed by a steamy summer night when the entire city loses power. Wang Xueming’s erratic choices embroil himself in a complex case that alters the fates of everyone in the story. In the exposed trailer, Peng Yuyan was ruthless without a word. The thinner image, dim eyes, and collapsed eye sockets all made the audience question "Is this Peng Yuyan?", and the raised vertebrae were completely eye-catching, which also made the audience suspicious. For this reason, Peng Yuyan said, "This scene took off a layer of skin."

Acting in a dehydrated state, Peng Yuyan can’t sleep at night due to self-depression

Peng Yuyan plays Wang Xueming in the film, who is depressed, gloomy, and inarticulate. He always keeps his hat down and hides in the crowd, like a hidden person who has no sense of existence. Director Wen Shipei compares him to a black fish, while Peng Yuyan himself is an extremely positive optimist. Whether in life or on the screen, he is familiar with the image of positive energy, and his reason for taking the role is always related to this – "I hope it can infect or inspire people who watch movies." This time, to play a role that is very different from his own personality, Peng Yuyan needs to maintain a depressed state during the two-month shooting period. He has cut off many ways to make himself happy and immersed himself in the character’s state through physical training, dietary restrictions, and emotional control.

"Wang Xueming is not a happy person. I want to be ready when I shoot every day, so I often jog in advance, consume myself to a certain extent, and act in a dehydrated state, which is more like." Peng Yuyan revealed that during the two months of filming, he often suffered from insomnia, which coincided with the character. "Wang Xueming often suffered from insomnia, so his state was not very good, and I myself could not sleep during that time. I think this is a signal of my self-control in physical, diet and psychological, which in turn helps me to get closer to the character."

Revealing the original intention of the play: I hope to find the courage to face myself squarely

Peng Yuyan said that his original intention for taking on the role of "Once Upon a Time in the Tropics" was that he wanted to seek a kind of courage to face setbacks, and this is exactly what Wang Xueming’s role can give him. "The first time I saw the script, the most intuitive feeling was that it was very powerful. I hope this role can give everyone and myself a kind of strength. When encountering difficulties or mistakes that I dare not face, I can have the courage to look directly and bear it, and then I can grow. This is my original intention for taking this role."

"The attraction of Wang Xueming’s character to me is that he is looking for redemption through this event. Everyone will live in the past, and some people dare not face it. Xueming wants to forget the past, but he has to face it." Peng Yuyan said that making the movie "Once Upon a Time in the Tropics" has made him grow a lot. "When you look directly at your fears and the past, you can face the sun. This is a story of character growth."

Deng Chao was exposed to be suffering from depression! Sun Li’s post content leads to speculation

Introduction:

On Sept. 12, 2023, a Taiwanese media report set off an online frenzy about the Chinese actor Deng Chao, who posted a set of photos 26 days after his last photo was posted, in what was seen as a response to previous rumors that he was suffering from depression. His wife, Sun Li, also published a long article on the same day, which sparked a frenzy on social media. This article will explore in detail the story behind the incident and the relationship between Deng Chao and Sun Li.

Text:

Who was the first to expose Deng Chao’s recent situation?

First, let’s review the timeline of the incident. The first to break the news of Deng Chao’s recent situation was the new generation actor Rong Zishan. He revealed that Deng Chao and he had previously filmed the film "Gate of the Sand Sea" together in Xinjiang. During the filming process, the two faced various extreme weather challenges together. However, the film is finally completed, which brings them to a perfect end.

Deng Chao’s response and funny post

Later, Deng Chao praised Rong Zishan’s news, and posted in a humorous way, "This should be tearing up the ceiling of the manga man," and posted photos of the killing scene. In these photos, Deng Chao and Rong Zishan imitated the poses of the cartoon characters behind them, fully demonstrating their humorous and funny nature.

Deng Chao’s appearance and mental state

In these photos, Deng Chao’s appearance is striking. His beard is quite large and his hair is showing a little gray, which makes him look particularly vicissitudes. But more importantly, his expression and demeanor suggest that he is still in a very good state of mind. He can joke as hilariously as usual, which makes it hard to believe that he may be suffering from depression.

Rumors of depression

However, a female internet user claiming to be Deng Chao’s cousin posted a video claiming that Deng Chao had been suffering from depression recently, and was in a very low mood. She even had headaches, panic and other symptoms, so that she could not sleep. Once the news was exposed, it immediately aroused people’s concern and worry.

Speculation has begun that Deng Chao may have fallen into depression due to the poor box office performance of his investment film "China Ping Pong". The film is expected to lose nearly 300 million, which is a significant loss for any investor. After the news broke, it was also noticed that Deng Chao had not updated his social account for an unusually long time, which further exacerbated concerns about his health.

Sun Li’s Yoga Essays

However, a yoga-related article by Sun Li has sparked more speculation on social media. She revealed that she is practicing yoga and used words such as "use your breath as a tool to release stress," prompting some to speculate whether she is trying to use yoga to help Deng Chao manage his emotions, fueling rumors that he is suffering from depression.

Deng Chao’s clarification

But now Mr. Deng’s post has undoubtedly cleared up all doubts. He made it clear that he had not updated his social media account for a long time because he was busy filming, not because of depression. This statement brought some comfort to his fans and put an end to previous speculation.

Sun Li’s sweet post

In addition, Sun Li also made a point of posting on social media to express her support for her husband’s filming in Xinjiang, and showed a wave of affection in a tone of pretend disgust. She revealed that on the set, Deng Chao had been picking up all kinds of stones, intending to make necklaces and jewelry, and even Deng Chao was interested in a stone weighing more than 200 catties, trying to transport it back to Shanghai from Xinjiang. This light-hearted and humorous episode was so hilarious that even Yao Chen posted a comment to ridicule.

The Origin of Emotional Processes

Sun Li and Deng Chao’s relationship can be traced back to when they worked together on the TV series "Golden Dust Family." At that time, they were only young actors, and no one could have predicted that such a deep relationship would develop between them. However, it was in this drama that the relationship between the two began to quietly sprout.

Steady and authentic emotions

Instead of the drama and twists and turns of many celebrity couples, their relationship came one step at a time. After a period of friendship, they gradually discovered that each other was the person they had been looking for. This solid and authentic emotional foundation made their love even more indestructible.

Married life

In 2010, Sun Li and Deng Chao’s wedding became the focus of the media and the public because they were one of the most high-profile celebrity couples in Chinese entertainment. Their wedding was not only solemn and romantic, but also full of personality and creativity, and was hailed as one of the classics of Chinese entertainment.

After their marriage, Sun Li and Deng Chao’s life was full of happiness and warmth. They have a happy family of four, son Deng Ziyuan and daughter Deng Ziwen. Despite their busy careers as a celebrity couple, they always strive to find a balance and put family first. They often spend family time together, traveling and participating in parent-child activities, setting a good example for their children.

To sum up

The relationship between Deng Chao and Sun Li is an unbreakable love story. Their love is full of sincerity and stability. Even in the face of all kinds of rumors and speculation, they still support each other and have gone through a long journey. Their married life is also full of happiness and warmth, setting an example for many people and showing a model of a happy family.

How to judge whether tea is good?

"Source of this article: People’s Daily Press"
A friend often asks me, "How to judge whether tea is good?" I seriously replied: "Tea looks clean, and it tastes sweet and delicious, which is good tea." They didn’t think so. They thought I was either perfunctory or empty. No way, I have to talk about how to judge whether tea is good.
Appearance. The shapes of tea are various, and the most common ones are strip-shaped, curly, long and round. No matter what the shape of tea leaves is, it is judged by the rope, tenderness, thickness, weight and uniformity of tea leaves. Usually, the rope is fine and tight, the gap is small, and the volume is small, followed by the bulky and loose one. Generally speaking, no matter what shape of tea leaves are, as long as they are compact and heavy, without yellow flakes and thick branches, they will not be bad.
Gloss. It is difficult to subjectively say which color of tea is absolutely good for tea from different producing areas and different technologies, but one thing can be objectively judged, that is, the gloss of tea. No matter what color tea is, as long as it looks bright, oily and textured, it is good tea.
Dry humidity. The water content standard of all kinds of tea is kept at 5%-7%. More than 8% of tea is easy to age, and more than 12% of tea is easy to mildew. At present, many tea farmers deliberately control the water content at more than 10% when making crude tea, so that the weight of tea will increase. This kind of raw tea will feel very good when it is first tried out of the oven, but the taste will change completely after a while, so the dryness and humidity of tea is very important. I introduce a method to measure the moisture content of tea by hand: hold a large handful of tea in your hand for three to four times repeatedly, and there is a tingling sensation in your hand. When you hear the sound of broken branches, the moisture content of tea will generally not exceed 8%; The tea with water content above 10% has no tingling sensation in the palm of your hand when you hold it, and the tea is a little soft and smells green. Of course, there is also a remedy to buy tea with high water content, that is, put the tea in an air-conditioned room with air conditioning, which can not only remove some water from the tea, but also prevent it from rapid oxidation.
Soup color. The color of soup refers to the color of tea soup after brewing, which can be divided into three types: normal color, bad color change and old color change. Normal color refers to the tea made under normal harvesting conditions, and the tea soup shows the normal color after brewing. For example, green tea or green tea is green or light yellow (also called goose yellow) after brewing; Black tea is red soup color or golden soup color, red and bright. Bad discoloration means that it is difficult for tea soup to present its proper color because of improper collection, transportation or initial preparation of fresh tea. For example, the soup color of deteriorated green tea is grayish brown or reddish in yellow. Aging discoloration means that it is difficult for tea soup to present its proper color due to aging in the production process. For example, if the tea leaves are not kneaded in time after fixation, and are not spread to cool or dry in time after kneading, the soup color of new tea will be old. Properly made new tea, the soup is bright and crystal clear; When the tea is aged, the soup color is yellow, brown and gray, and the turbidity is everywhere.
The above are some opinions on "observing the face and observing the color". Let’s talk about the soul of tea endoplasm.
Smell the fragrance. Different land, climate, varieties and production techniques make the aroma of all kinds of tea have their own characteristics and styles. As a whole, it can be summarized into five evaluation factors: purity, richness, freshness, flatness and coarseness.
Pure: the fragrance is pure, and there is no miscellaneous taste and greasy feeling.
Strong: The aroma is strong and long.
Fresh and refreshing: the smell is fresh, which makes people feel refreshed, such as being in a mountain or a place with a good ecological environment, and feeling in the air with high negative ions.
Ping: The aroma is plain, and there is no strange smell.
Coarse: fragrant, but the fragrance is mixed, choking the nose and spicy.
The durability of aroma is also a factor to judge the quality of tea. I condensed the criteria for judging good tea into four simple words-quiet and elegant, and the durability of tea is reflected in the word "quiet". "Quiet" means that the aroma of tea is long and lasting.
I sum up the smell of incense as follows: the pure is pure, the fragrance is elegant but not greasy, and the light and tasteful is quiet. With this feature, good tea is undoubtedly also.
Let’s talk about the taste of tea. Taste means the feeling after drinking. Alcohol is just right. Tea tastes fresh, mellow, fragrant and sweet. The taste of inferior tea is bitter, coarse and pungent, and some people interpret this performance as strong and sweet, especially the tea drinkers of the older generation in Chaoshan often describe this bad taste as "fleshy", "full mouth" and "strong enough".
Sometimes the tea soup tastes bad, which may be due to the thick water. Rough water is not a feeling, but a fact. Sometimes, we feel that after drinking tea soup, there are attachments on the tongue surface or the bottom of the tongue, which makes the tongue surface feel rough. This is because there are more particles in the tea soup. There are two sources of particulate matter: first, the tea processing process is unsanitary, dust and sand are attached, or wood ash particles are caused by improper baking with charcoal fire, which belongs to foreign coarse particles; Second, the release of particles is related to the quality of tea. For example, the tea growing at low altitude has high temperature, fast growth speed, thick leaves and loose fibers. After making and baking at high temperature, once soaked, the crumbs and particles on the edge of tea will dissolve in water, making the tea soup more particles and the tea soup thicker. This is an endogenous particle, which will have a dull and astringent taste after drinking.
In front of me, I talked about several basic elements of tea evaluation, from the shape, appearance and gloss of tea to the color, smell and taste of soup, and finally talked about the evaluation of leaf bottom.
Many people drink tea, whether they understand or not, they will pick up the cover bowl and smell it, and then poke the tea with the cover. The technical term of this link is "viewing the bottom of the leaf". Viewing the bottom of leaves is also a method to judge the grade of tea. Generally speaking, the color is the first thing to look at at the bottom of the leaves. After fully brewing, the leaves are spread out and the color is uniform, and one side is not red and the other side is green. The texture of the leaves is oily, there is no obvious explosion point or burning point, and the integrity of the leaves is high. It is good tea to have such a leaf bottom. Of course, tea culture is profound, and not all teas are the same. Some teas with obvious characteristics, such as Jin Junmei in Tongmuguan, are still tall and straight after soaking in water for more than 20 years, and each bud head is bright and thick, like a red tassel gun head; If it is Jin Junmei made of green tea buds from Guanwai or Jiangxi, after several times of brewing, all the buds will stick together and never stand up again.
Of course, these people need to be judged by people who have rich experience or major in tea research, and ordinary tea drinkers don’t need to spend so much energy to study these problems.
