The "stability" of foreign trade reflects China’s economic resilience.

Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, September 11th-According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, in the first eight months of this year, the total import and export value of China’s goods trade exceeded 20 trillion yuan, up 3.6% year-on-year, continuing the steady development trend. Against the headwinds of unilateralism and protectionism, this foreign trade report card reflects China’s economic resilience.

Behind the steady momentum, China’s foreign trade "friends circle" is growing. As the saying goes, many friends make the road easier. China has always kept its doors open for trade. Foreign friends know the quality of products in China and the reputation of businesses in China, and orders are the best proof. The EU is China’s largest trading partner. In the first eight months, China-EU trade totaled 3.15 trillion yuan, up 9.7%. ASEAN, China’s second largest trading partner, has a trade volume of 2.74 trillion yuan in the same period, with a growth rate of 11.7%. With the deepening of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, China’s foreign trade "friends circle" is becoming more and more diverse.

Behind the steady momentum is the continuous optimization of China’s commodity structure and the continuous development of new formats. According to the data of the first eight months, the import and export of general trade accounted for 59.8% of China’s total foreign trade, an increase of 1 percentage point over the same period last year. In contrast, the proportion of traditional processing trade continues to decline. The export of mechanical and electrical products and equipment manufacturing products with higher added value maintained a good growth trend. For example, the export of solar cells increased by 55.7%, and the export of metal processing machine tools increased by 20%. At the same time, the import and export in the form of bonded logistics reached 2.31 trillion yuan, up 9.9%, and various new foreign trade formats competed with each other, which provided stamina for the stability of foreign trade.

Behind the steady momentum, China is constantly optimizing the port business environment, reducing taxes and fees to stimulate the vitality of enterprises. We can see that in the first eight months, the import and export of private enterprises reached 8.49 trillion yuan, up by 11.2%, accounting for 42.2% of China’s total foreign trade, up by 2.9 percentage points over the same period last year. It is by continuously pushing forward the "streamline administration, delegate power, strengthen regulation and improve services" reform and promoting fair competition among all kinds of market players that foreign trade players have a steady stream of motivation.

The situation is exciting and the challenges are still ahead. As long as we don’t have a chaotic rhythm and concentrate on our own affairs, the general trend of the stable development of China’s foreign trade and the long-term improvement of China’s economy will not change. Workers flying over the forest farm of Northeast Tiger and Leopard National Park tell about the changes behind Tiger and Leopard’s "return to their hometown"

CCTV News:On October 17th, we’re going to visit the Northeast Tiger and Leopard National Park. First, we’ll have a bird’s eye view of this beautiful land from the perspective of the crossing plane.

More than 100 years ago, there were tigers and leopards in Zengshan Mountain, a forest region in northeast China. After entering the 20th century, the tigers and leopards in northeast China almost disappeared. In August 2017, China launched a pilot project of the Northeast Tiger and Leopard National Park to restore forest ecology and restore the Northeast Tiger and Leopard population. Four years have passed, what changes have taken place here? Come to see the reporter’s investigation.

Tao Congrong and his wife live in Dahuanggou Forest Farm of Changbai Mountain Forest Industry Group at the junction of Hunchun City and Wangqing County, Jilin Province. Tao Congrong, who has only seen tigers in paintings since childhood, finally saw the live Siberian tiger for the first time a year ago.

Although Tao Congrong’s wife Dou Yingxia has never met a tiger, she has also seen the footprints of the Northeast Tiger with her own eyes.

Not only can you see the Northeast Tiger, but also the Northeast Leopard often meet people in Dahuanggou.

Dahuanggou is already the hinterland of the Northeast Tiger and Leopard National Park, which extends more than 100 kilometers to the west from the Sino-Russian border area where the Northeast Tiger and Leopard frequently moved four years ago. Here, the northeast tigers and leopards meet people so frequently, does it mean that they have followed the west?

As an expert of National Forestry and Grassland Administration Northeast Tiger and Leopard Monitoring and Research Center, Feng Limin and his colleagues have installed nearly 30,000 infrared cameras in Northeast Tiger and Leopard National Park, covering an area of 12,000 square kilometers, capturing amazing images every minute.

According to the latest statistics of Northeast Tiger and Leopard National Park, the number of Northeast Tiger and Leopard in the park has greatly increased. From 2012 to 2014, the population of Northeast Tiger and Leopard in this area was only 27 and 42 respectively. The wild Siberian tiger and leopard are located at the top of the forest food chain, and each settled Siberian tiger needs 100— The territory of 400 square kilometers, that is to say, every extra Siberian tiger depends on the improvement of forest ecosystem quality within hundreds of square kilometers. Tao Congrong and his wife, who live in the forest farm, personally feel the changes around them.

There are more and more unexpected encounters between people and animals. In the interview, the reporter also found sika deer, a national first-class protected animal.

Deer is one of the main foods of the Northeast Tiger. Wherever the food goes, the Northeast Tiger will follow it.

The Northeast Tiger and Leopard National Park is adjacent to the Russian National Tiger and Leopard Park, and more and more Northeast Tiger and Leopard gradually spread from the border between China and Russia to the hinterland of the Northeast Tiger and Leopard National Park. In 2020, National Forestry and Grassland Administration evaluated and accepted the pilot project of Northeast Tiger and Leopard National Park, and the report showed that it had become a stable habitat and a spreading source of wild Northeast Tiger and Leopard in China.
