Ten Years in China ｜ Ministry of Foreign Affairs： More than 2.2 billion doses of vaccines have been provided to promote the construction of a human health community.

　　On the morning of September 29th, the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee held a series of press conferences on the theme of "Ten Years in China", introducing the diplomatic work in the new era and answering reporters’ questions.

　　Ma Zhaoxu, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs introduced that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the CPC Central Committee with the Supreme Leader as the core has accurately grasped the development trend of the world and the development process of China, correctly understood the relationship between China and the outside world, scientifically answered fundamental questions such as what kind of world should be promoted, what kind of international relations should be built, what kind of diplomacy China needs and how to conduct diplomacy under the new situation, and achieved a series of major theoretical and practical innovations in the diplomatic field.

　　Faced with the question of "what kind of world to build and how to build this world", General Secretary of the Supreme Leader put forward an important concept of building a community of human destiny on the basis of in-depth thinking about the future and destiny of mankind, which pointed out the direction for human development and progress. Building a community of human destiny is the general goal of China’s diplomacy in the new era, and it has become a glorious banner leading the trend of the times.

　　The core connotation of the community of human destiny is to build a world of lasting peace, universal security, common prosperity, openness, tolerance, cleanliness and beauty. China is both an advocate and a practitioner of building a community of human destiny. Adhering to the concept of a global community of development and destiny, we persisted in discussing, building and sharing to promote the construction of the Belt and Road, and signed more than 200 cooperation documents with 149 countries and 32 international organizations to jointly build the Belt and Road. Thanks to the Belt and Road Initiative, East Africa has expressways, Maldives has a sea-crossing bridge, Laos has changed from a "land-locked country" to a "land-linked country", and China-Europe trains have also become an important "lifeline" to ensure the stability and smoothness of global logistics. Before China-Laos Railway opened to traffic last year, Lao students studying in China wrote to the Supreme Leader General Secretary to express their gratitude for the Belt and Road Initiative.

　　When the epidemic struck in the century, we always stood at the forefront of international anti-epidemic cooperation, shared epidemic prevention and treatment plans with more than 180 countries and international organizations, sent 38 medical expert groups to 34 countries, provided more than 2.2 billion doses of vaccines to more than 120 countries and international organizations, carried out the largest global emergency humanitarian action since the founding of New China, and promoted the construction of a human health community.

　　Building a community of human destiny is increasingly welcomed and supported by the international community, and it has achieved multiple leaps from "one party leading the singing" to "chorus". When General Secretary of the Supreme Leader delivered the keynote speech "Building a Community of Human Destiny Together" in Geneva, more than 800 guests at the scene gave more than 30 warm applause within 47 minutes. UN Secretary-General Guterres said that the purpose of practicing multilateralism is to build a community of human destiny. The concept of a community of human destiny has been fully reflected in the documents of the United Nations and other international organizations, and the construction of China-Africa community of destiny, China-Arab community of destiny, China-Latin America community of destiny, China-ASEAN community of destiny and China-Central Asia community of destiny is also being actively promoted. Since last year, the General Secretary of the Supreme Leader has successively put forward global development initiatives and global security initiatives, further enriching the concept of a community of human destiny.

　　At present, the world has entered a new period of turbulent change, and the characteristics of world change, historical change and times change are more obvious. Under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with the Supreme Leader as the core, we should be upright and innovative, persevere and make unremitting efforts to promote the innovation of diplomatic theory and practice, and constantly open up a new realm and situation of diplomacy with China as a big country.
