It is understood that the renovation project of the old residential area in the red star row is a comprehensive residential project integrating high-end commercial housing, resettlement commercial housing and commercial comprehensive construction. With the completion of the project and the relocation of personnel, the area will be upgraded from the original "miscellaneous, chaotic and old" state to a noble and livable residential area. This is the largest renovation of old housing areas in Fuzhou in recent years.
Through the three-year old renovation, the contiguous old housing areas such as Hongqiang New Village in Gulou District and its surrounding areas, along Gule Road, Hongxing Paiwei in Taijiang District, South Park, Sancha Street and Guozhai in Cangshan District, and Yangxia and Puxia in Jin ‘an District have been renovated.
In order to effectively ensure the effective promotion of the renovation of old housing areas, during the renovation, the city has formed an overall arrangement and scheduling mechanism for the renovation of old housing areas in urban areas. In 2019, Fuzhou started the accurate old renovation of scattered plots in urban areas, and comprehensively mapped out the old houses that are not within the scope of renovation of contiguous old houses and renovation and upgrading of old communities, are ordinary bungalows, C-class and D-class dangerous buildings, or have scattered plots that seriously affect the landscape, and implemented accurate renovation in batches according to factors such as the degree of housing danger, landscape renovation requirements, and residents’ willingness to renovate. In the past two years, a total of 223 precision transformation projects of sporadic plots have been implemented, benefiting more than 2,700 households.
